For the most part, I've never really been for or against makeup for men, but have come to the conclusion from recent jobs I've done recently that makeup should be done for the male Headshot photo. Why you ask? Well, when you get on set, won't you be sent to hair and makeup, so why not do the same and treat it the same way. Now, I'm not talking about the same degree of makeup that is used on a women. I like to still keep it natural and sometimes the only things needed with a guy who's got great skin and no under eye issues is a bit of powder foundation to make sure that there's an evenness to the skin tone. Now you ask, what about when I walk into the audition room, I'll still have the uneven skin tone, birthmark, age spot, or whatever makes you you. A little powder foundation will do the job in letting the natural you come through and looking good. And besides, it will cut down on the shiny glow that happens when they put you on camera where they can only do their best to make you look good with the minimal lighting and less than professional camera most casting directors have to use.<br /><br />After just working a corporate shoot where the majority of the photos being taken were of "men", all lawyers, the thought of wearing makeup was something most wanted no part of, especially an older gentlemen that asked on a couple of occasions, "is it really necessary?" After I did my thing, I heard him tell his colleagues after he took a look in the mirror, "wow, it really does make a difference but it doesn't really look like I have anything on." Depending on the issues I was dealing with each of the men, depended on which approach I took with what kind of makeup I would use, but the result was always the same, make it look natural and light, not made up and heavy. <br /><br />Here's another tip if you're an actor/model. Take your Headshot, Resume, SAG/AFTRA card, call sheet or any such professional Id and you'll be able to get a discount card for a yearly fee. Very worth it.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

I really enjoyed the 2 of them and how comfortable our consultation, preview and conversation went which made me excited for the wedding day on November 14th where whe would be getting ready at the Crown Plaza in Redondo beach. I had just had a great experience at a Crown Plaza and was asking whether her bed felt like sleeping on a cloud as it was for me. Yup! Her photographer was <a href="http://stephaniehoward.com/#/client/template.xml?aaa=home&bbb=">Stephanie Howard</a>, a friend of the bride and groom. I actually got to meet the groom that day which is not something I normally get to do. He actually helped the bride with little sewing project she needed for the big day, ; ). Just for me and the bride to know. It was a real pleasure to work on both Mary and Julie. Both very easy to work with and on. Photos of the event can be seen on <a href="http://stephaniehoward.com/blog/?p=487">Stepanie Howard's blog.</a><br /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/S20m3DEmR_I/AAAAAAAAAwA/BvO0oXg6xQ0/s320/20091114_McCray-Wedding_0227.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435043052465309682" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/S20m1zSA-AI/AAAAAAAAAvo/O4XI9pSjX4c/s320/20091114_McCray-Wedding_0038.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435043031046748162" /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/S20m26bjOMI/AAAAAAAAAv4/Aav8PK5q8sI/s1600-h/20091114_McCray-Wedding_0086.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/S20m26bjOMI/AAAAAAAAAv4/Aav8PK5q8sI/s320/20091114_McCray-Wedding_0086.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435043050145659074" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/S20m2PQs2sI/AAAAAAAAAvw/bvT_IPkNNqU/s320/20091114_McCray-Wedding_0075.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435043038557428418" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 213px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/S20m3d7tbWI/AAAAAAAAAwI/rHxwnXNAlMw/s320/20091114_McCray-Wedding_1406-Edit-2.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5435043059675786594" /><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

A bride of Mine from 8/08 Leslie. I loved doing her hair and makeup. She had a vision that she communicated very well, and I was excited about that vision as much as she was. Created by an award-winning production team, the show is a window into the real world behind the scenes struggle of actors coming to Hollywood from around the world, seeking an opportunity to build their talents and star power. The last actor standing could be the next film and television star. A reality series that combines the excitement of AMERICAN IDOL with the competitive challenges of SURVIVOR.<br /><br />Should be something very interesting to see. Here's the link where you can catch up and watch the fun. <a href="http://www.hellbentforhollywood.com/hellbentforhollywood/Home.html">Hellbent for Hollywood</a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

Her name is Kathy and she is one of the last of a wonderful group of ladies that I've had the pleasure of working on. And it all started with their friend Cammy, one of the bridesmaids in this wedding and another of my brides which is also a bridesmaid which is expecting her first child. I had been told a while ago it was a possibility, but all has come to fruition. Very exciting. You actually got to see Jennifer in one of my previous posts, July 6, 2008. Here's a link to <a href="http://chrisschmittblog.com/2009/06/the-knot-features-jennifer-and-jesses-wedding-at-rancho-del-cielo.html">Chris Schmitt Photography</a> and the link the <a href="http://weddings.theknot.com/Real-Weddings/46250/view.aspx?id=46250&type=1&location=084">The Knot website</a> by clicking here. Renee is such a beautiful person and really great to work with. She had full trust in me and I seem to know what she wanted. We were pretty on sync when it came to making sure that things were taken care of and nothing missed. Although she didn't win or place, I had many come up to me and voice their sadness of her not winning or at least placing, which I thoroughly agreed with. I had a change for hair and makeup for practically every outfit. Quite hectic let me tell you, but very fun. We had done a trial day, but still changed things last minute. I don't think I've ever done a hairstyle so quick. Her boyfriend David, who was there during the trial supplied the photos. I just loved the way he couldn't stop "gazing" at Renee while I worked on her and she showed her different looks with her outfits. The look in his eyes were just priceless, the look we all hope to have in the person that we love looks back at us. Just beautiful! You'll find David in the beginning shot and on stage with the plaque.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDP0P6aWPI/AAAAAAAAAok/oRJqlkDeQoY/s1600-h/Renee:David.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDP0P6aWPI/AAAAAAAAAok/oRJqlkDeQoY/s320/Renee:David.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300965257946749170" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPz30oJyI/AAAAAAAAAoc/07uEoGcfTYg/s1600-h/ReneeO%23.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 134px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPz30oJyI/AAAAAAAAAoc/07uEoGcfTYg/s320/ReneeO%23.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300965251480037154" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPhea9iJI/AAAAAAAAAoU/sYXReKxf41g/s1600-h/ReneeBatSuit.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPhea9iJI/AAAAAAAAAoU/sYXReKxf41g/s320/ReneeBatSuit.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300964935423854738" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPhXV87LI/AAAAAAAAAoM/oSvZmGT31Ys/s1600-h/ReneeEvening.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 291px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPhXV87LI/AAAAAAAAAoM/oSvZmGT31Ys/s320/ReneeEvening.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300964933523795122" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPhPpsspI/AAAAAAAAAoE/JvCitcgbqSs/s1600-h/ReneeEvening1.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 178px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPhPpsspI/AAAAAAAAAoE/JvCitcgbqSs/s320/ReneeEvening1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300964931459134098" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPhOnWR-I/AAAAAAAAAn8/Qtv3rG_k56E/s1600-h/Renee%26David.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 296px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPhOnWR-I/AAAAAAAAAn8/Qtv3rG_k56E/s320/Renee%26David.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300964931180840930" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPhPzhY3I/AAAAAAAAAn0/izruS0sc4tk/s1600-h/ReneeChiPao2.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 131px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SZDPhPzhY3I/AAAAAAAAAn0/izruS0sc4tk/s320/ReneeChiPao2.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5300964931500335986" /></a><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

August was a really busy month but first I need to post some from the previous months.<br /><br />Here's Jessica getting ready at the Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach. Great scenery on the ocean being sung by Sealions. That day was a very calm day on the ocean as it was inside the hotel room getting everyone ready. Those kinds of weddings always really nice. Just the excitement of waiting to meet the one person they love and want to spend the rest of their lives with.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLX3A_CqGI/AAAAAAAAAbQ/CAlj_bG037M/s1600-h/Jessica%26Mark3.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLX3A_CqGI/AAAAAAAAAbQ/CAlj_bG037M/s320/Jessica%26Mark3.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247493855997241442" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLXii8SDuI/AAAAAAAAAbI/FSHUu3UG9z4/s320/Jessica%26Mark14.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247493504335220450" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLXidRIzkI/AAAAAAAAAbA/tljEptXTSFw/s320/Jessica%26Mark6.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247493502812081730" /><br /><br />Here's Linda and her entourage. I did 2 of the BM's hair and makeup<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLZpO5879I/AAAAAAAAAbY/fQx-nDxvPEQ/s1600-h/lindayen1486.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLZpO5879I/AAAAAAAAAbY/fQx-nDxvPEQ/s320/lindayen1486.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247495818239078354" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLZpYkIgFI/AAAAAAAAAbg/L0DYf6YJdlw/s320/Lindayen1909.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247495820831916114" /><br /><br />I work on many Jewish Orthordox weddings with a Makeup Artist friend whenever she needs help with a large wedding party. Often times working with wigs. I've amazed myself with some of the hairstyles that I have done with the wigs and usually do not have my camera along with me to take photos of the work and if I do have my camera, we are soooo busy that I don't have a chance to take a photo. So I don't think I have any of the wigs, but here are some of makeup that I have done, specifically, would you be able to tell that she had a nasty bruise on that lip. Covering that was easy, if it were swollen, don't think it would have been as easy.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLhyYS7AQI/AAAAAAAAAbo/9aFR7eGXi8g/s1600-h/IMG_0195.JPG"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLhyYS7AQI/AAAAAAAAAbo/9aFR7eGXi8g/s320/IMG_0195.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247504771471573250" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLpCJbGBlI/AAAAAAAAAbw/HyC-aDF7MrM/s320/IMG_0009.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247512738938619474" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SNLpCVXYY0I/AAAAAAAAAb4/82weisy_KdI/s320/IMG_0010.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5247512742144271170" /><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

Beautiful place, but the weather wasn't looking to good. Being from the east coast I don't normally feel any humidy out here, but that day up in the Malibu hill I most definitely felt it so I had to make sure as best I could those curls would last.<br /><br />Jen was in her bridesmaids (Cammy's) wedding and thought well enough of me to use me herself. <br /><br />The first photo is from her trial and the rest from her wedding day.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHGd5Y5PvaI/AAAAAAAAAWk/q_L6lrdfXSs/s1600-h/JenWang1.JPG"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHGd5Y5PvaI/AAAAAAAAAWk/q_L6lrdfXSs/s320/JenWang1.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220127052359777698" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHGd5iNabwI/AAAAAAAAAWs/bECm5MZV18o/s320/JenWang5.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220127054860283650" /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHGd6He1-1I/AAAAAAAAAW8/_QMNJVeWNHY/s1600-h/JenWang8.JPG"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHGd6He1-1I/AAAAAAAAAW8/_QMNJVeWNHY/s320/JenWang8.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220127064865504082" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHGd59tNbmI/AAAAAAAAAW0/fDYyjyb5vqc/s320/JenWang6.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220127062241406562" /><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

So the hairpins were put in so they could be taken out without disturbing the rest of the hair. No easy feet as her hair was really thick and heavy. I'm sorry to say though, I couldn't get a photo to show the after shot. Sarah took the first photo and you can check out more of her beautiful work from Vanessa's day on sarahkchen.com/blog/?p=238<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHFs1SKVshI/AAAAAAAAAVs/5tUV629N5rA/s1600-h/Vanessa5:25:08.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHFs1SKVshI/AAAAAAAAAVs/5tUV629N5rA/s320/Vanessa5:25:08.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220073105763185170" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHFs17E3LjI/AAAAAAAAAV0/6EgXT2pesSo/s320/IMG_0162V.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220073116746067506" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHFs2DfbdbI/AAAAAAAAAV8/3dMs_6-m_IY/s320/IMG_0172V.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220073119004980658" /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHFs2nRYeZI/AAAAAAAAAWE/mleF_zcMd8o/s1600-h/IMG_0175V.JPG"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHFs2nRYeZI/AAAAAAAAAWE/mleF_zcMd8o/s320/IMG_0175V.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220073128609741202" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHFs3D4vNmI/AAAAAAAAAWM/LMt-zQGRMWE/s320/IMG_0178V.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220073136291001954" /><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

All very sweet girls and so much fun to work on, thank you girls. <br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SGLal6FLZLI/AAAAAAAAAT8/7tu21q819Ng/s1600-h/KewlMagAnna+Maria.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SGLal6FLZLI/AAAAAAAAAT8/7tu21q819Ng/s320/KewlMagAnna+Maria.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5215971663229445298" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SGLamRwlgJI/AAAAAAAAAUE/fSfOvLZGKaE/s320/KewlMagAlyson.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5215971669585526930" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SGLamowLVVI/AAAAAAAAAUM/L1v2XBdag4U/s320/KewlMagMeagan.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5215971675757827410" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHGWfcE4tFI/AAAAAAAAAWU/2IuJ8l-eIWY/s200/KM:Alyson%26Meghan.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220118909955912786" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SHGWfgpw3HI/AAAAAAAAAWc/LtZQVlMrZv0/s200/KM:AnnaMarie:Me.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5220118911184329842" /><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

On Friday night, you get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in your movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete. Then it will show at a local theater, usually in the next week. <br /><br />The beautiful heroine of our 5 min short is case #18 of Deal or No Deal Marisa. I wanted to do a Lara Croft kind of feel and didn't want a lot of makeup for her. And basically, she doesn't need very much either.<br /><br />Check out the short on youtube: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNnvp3B_3iA">Miss Liberty</a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SFnmfJ_nxDI/AAAAAAAAATk/6TA5oCbUsxw/s1600-h/IMG_0013.JPG"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SFnmfJ_nxDI/AAAAAAAAATk/6TA5oCbUsxw/s320/IMG_0013.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5213451466591159346" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SFnmffIG6VI/AAAAAAAAATs/EV33-QA242o/s320/IMG_0063.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5213451472263899474" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SFnmf3ZcZTI/AAAAAAAAAT0/xh8RssghCPo/s320/IMG_0157.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5213451478779061554" /><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

The first thing to do is to drink plenty of water and hydrate yourself. That's especially true for anyone that is flying in from out of town. You know how thirsty you are when you're on the plane and then get off. Imagine how your face will just drink in any moisture that's in your foundation or face lotion. It'll never be enough. <br /><br />Okay, so you've been drinking enough water, but have you been exfoliating that face? Your makeup will thank you and so will you once you see how flawless your makeup can look when it's properly exfoliated and your makeup just glides on. Key areas to pay attention to is your T-zone and especially the NOSE. Exfoliation doesn't have to mean a scrub and my favorite product to use is the Alpha Hydrox line. www.neotericcosmetics.com/alpha-hydrox. It's difficult to find in stores, but it's one of the most affordable lines out there and even more affordable when you go to their website and see what they have on special. My absolute favorite is either the AHA Souffle from the New Generation or the AHA Enhanced Cream from the Original line. Just put it on your face at night along with your moisturizer and you wake up with your face exfoliated. How simple is that?! I've been using it for years when in my mid 20's I started to break out like a teenager. Well, maybe not that bad, but when I did breakout, it was usually one huge one in the most obvious of spots. But this really kept the breakouts under control, because my face wasn't clogging up. When I don't use it, boy do I see and feel a difference in my skin.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SFMj-Jp6pSI/AAAAAAAAATM/m9dgioovLRU/s1600-h/prodlist-tempprod.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SFMj-Jp6pSI/AAAAAAAAATM/m9dgioovLRU/s320/prodlist-tempprod.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211548744448386338" /></a><br /><br />On to the next step. Moisturizing. There are many moisturizers out there and truthfully, many good ones. That will come down to preference and what works for you. What works for one person, doesn't necessarily work for another. I've used different ones and it's usually due to finances. But when I can afford it, I love my Dermalogica Active Moist. And when I feel my skin needs just a little more, I add a couple of drops of Stress Relief Treatment Oil. It's made of natural oils of Lavender, Sandalwood, Orange and more. Check out their website for more information www.dermalogica.com<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SFMn_4RAlkI/AAAAAAAAATU/f_-2LLSkaOY/s1600-h/a_am.gif"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SFMn_4RAlkI/AAAAAAAAATU/f_-2LLSkaOY/s320/a_am.gif" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211553172186764866" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SFMpe1-zI7I/AAAAAAAAATc/T5O3kJQzeNY/s320/a_srto.gif" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5211554803661087666" /><br /><br /><br /><br />Do you ever have those days that you just don't want to put makeup on but you feel you just can't do with out? Well try this trick. Take your favorite moisturizer and your favorite foundation and a little into your moisturizer. Just enough to add some color. I would say usually about 2-3 parts moisturizer to 1 part foundation. Also depends on whether your foundation is cream base or liquid. But now you have the best of both worlds without a lot of fuss. Then just put on your Masacara (and eyeliner if you like), a little blush or bronzer, lip gloss, lipstick or lipbalm and 5 minutes max and your out the door. If you want to play it up just a tiny bit more, take whatever you choose for your cheeks, blush or bronzer and just swipe along the contour of your eye. Really can't be any easier than this.<br /><br />Hope you liked this bit of information and that it helped in some way.<br /><br />: )<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

Here's the press release www.edbaran.com/mtihomevideo/pressreleases/2008/adventuresofjohnnytao.pdf. Below are set images along with the poster. I had a great time working on this with some awesome people both cast and crew alike. Thanks to Artie for recommending me for this project and thanks to Ken Scott for giving me the great experience of heading my own department and to my assistant Danielle, couldn't have done it without you.<br /><br />See the trailer www.johnnytao.com/moviemedium.htm<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SDXnwcsUF5I/AAAAAAAAALA/-IyTLhJq0pc/s1600-h/Adventures_of_Johnny_Tao_300key.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SDXnwcsUF5I/AAAAAAAAALA/-IyTLhJq0pc/s200/Adventures_of_Johnny_Tao_300key.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203319764018272146" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SDXnwssUF6I/AAAAAAAAALI/FVT6hwfDn_M/s200/twining.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203319768313239458" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SDXnxMsUF8I/AAAAAAAAALY/T9QwLbYif5Y/s200/YEN%26Twining.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203319776903174082" /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SDXnxMsUF7I/AAAAAAAAALQ/COs-qiz4GNo/s1600-h/chrischops.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SDXnxMsUF7I/AAAAAAAAALQ/COs-qiz4GNo/s200/chrischops.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203319776903174066" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SDXnxcsUF9I/AAAAAAAAALg/EAg9TnJhW2M/s200/jameshong.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5203319781198141394" /><br /><br /><br />I must say a bit intimidating to work on the great James Hong who's had the best of makeup artists out there.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">

You know me, as I mentioned before, I love the personal touches that make every wedding unique. And this one was no exception. Thank you to Jen for putting up with a crazy Monroe during the preview. The day of Jen's wedding we met at Heidi's, her soon to be mother in law, which was a beautiful home on the beach in Venice with great big windows for wonderful light to do both hair and makeup. Heidi was wonderful and it was a pleasure to see that mother in laws can embrace the women who is lucky enough to win the heart of her son. A beautiful family in all.<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SAaJO8TN80I/AAAAAAAAAH4/ikiox1zmxSU/s1600-h/2t.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SAaJO8TN80I/AAAAAAAAAH4/ikiox1zmxSU/s200/2t.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5189986510388982594" /></a><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SAaJPcTN81I/AAAAAAAAAIA/AbEyp4PQ4ik/s200/19t.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5189986518978917202" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SAaJP8TN83I/AAAAAAAAAIQ/9T41OTPfR7E/s200/51t.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5189986527568851826" /><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_i4zv3gGwtSo/SAaJPsTN82I/AAAAAAAAAII/xykKXywHvzo/s200/62t.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5189986523273884514" /><div class="blogger-post-footer"><script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">
